About Us
Gon Muay Thai Academy
We are a new Muay Thai Academy doing Muay Thai differently. Our gym is based on a simple concept quality over quantity, we have a waiting list as we won't have more than 12 people - 6 pairs in an hour class. This ensures my standard of teaching is high and everyone in class is seen. Our business model is zoned in on exceptional teaching with no stones left unturned. The smaller classes allows us to do this for our members.

My Story
I was born in Thailand and I take trips back to Thailand and visiting huge gyms such as Fairtex and Lamai but also visiting small remote gyms to learn about the art of 8 limbs and I translate this and bring it back to Gon Muay Thai.
Back in 2020 I have been training Muay Thai for 6 years now and was never confident enough to start teaching, I knew I always wanted to. It wasn't until I was training in an MMA gym under professional MMA Fighter John Robinson who trained next to the likes of Dan Hooker, Isreal Adesanya at City Kickboxing that was I encouraged to teach Muay Thai classes for his students to help their striking.
This was based off my attention to detail when helping my partner and my commitment in class, which made John champion me into being part of his coaching team and it was the best decision I ever made in my life.
I don't sell myself as a prestigious fighter with a decorated career, I have fought Muay Thai for a couple years but nothing to shout about. I sell myself as a coach who's passionate his students and patriotic about our national sport, who will breakdown every tiny technique until it clicks and you get it, whether it takes 2 minutes or 2 years. My value is in my students and the results we have achieved in such a short amount of time. I like the idea of fighting again but I love producing fighters more and bringing the new generation into Muay Thai. Some says it's quite young but at 27 I have chosen to commit myself as a Coach and Teacher to my team, with the main focus no longer being on myself.
Where I may be the headcoach of Gon Muay Thai, like you I will forever be a student of the game with so much still to learn and share in a way I understand.
